Simply Internet's mail server has been upgraded! The mail server is not only bigger and faster, but it is also closer to an Internet backbone. Some settings may have changed on your computer. If you are having problems, please read the "Network Status" webpage or call 619-565-7873

Mid June, 1999
New area code is in effect! Customers in the new 858 area code, please note: Your current settings will continue to work until December. All numbers for your area are searchable under the 619 area code. If you would like to change your number now, click here for information.

The new FLEX/v.90 Yucca Valley number is now available. All FLEX/v.90 customers in this area are encouraged to use 760-365-6727 to dial into Simply Internet. Please verify that this number is local to you by dialing your local operator.

After testing and compiling results, it is unfortunate, but we will not continue with the expansion plan with Level3. The level of service for many of you was not to our standards. Instead, we will be adding additional ports in our existing facility. The new ports should be up and working on Tuesday April 6, 1999.
If you have recently changed your access number to one that ends with -4222, please discontinue using that number before Tuesday April 6, 1999. If you need assistance in choosing the correct access number in your area, please contact one of our representatives. Anyone in our organization can assist you.

The upgrade of our network is in progress. We are aware of the busy signa ls some of you are experiencing. If dialing San Diego is local please try these numbers as alternates 707.0006 or 308.0445. The 707 number is a permanent 33.6 number and the 308 is a temporary 56k/V90 number which will be available until further notice.
