How to Configure Microsoft Comic Chat
Comic Chat is a graphical IRC client from Microsoft designed to work in Windows 95.
There are currently two versions, one included with Internet Explorer 3.0 and one designed to operate as a stand alone program.
When starting Comic Chat, a dialogue box will prompt you to choose a server. Enter the server name, such as:
irc.chat.com
You can connect to a specific channel once logged into the server, or list the available channels.
To change most of the settings available through Comic Chat, check under View | Options. This allows you to change characters, backgrounds, and personal information. To connect to different servers, you can go to the File Menu and click New Connection.
Note: Simply Internet does not support for Comic Chat. There are extensive help files within the program.
