Configuring Internet Explorer's Internet Mail

The following instructions will help you configure Internet Explorer's Internet Mail for e-mail. Internet Mail usually comes packaged with Internet Explorer.

Reconfiguration

Start the Internet Mail Wizard. You will see a window similar to the screenshot on the left. Click Next

Enter your Name in the Name: field.
Enter your email address in the Email Address: field.
Eg. if your username is johnd, your email address is  johnd@znet.net

Click Next.

For the Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: field, enter mail.simplyweb.net

For the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: field, enter smtp.simplyweb.net

Click Next.

For the Email Account: field, enter your email address. eg. if your username is johnd, your email address will be johnd@znet.net

For the Password: field, enter your password.

Click Next.

Select "I use a modem to access my email" and choose Simply Internet as your Dial-Up Networking Connection by clicking the down arrow.

Click Next.

You have succesfully configure Internet Mail. Click Finish.

To reconfigure Internet Explorer's Internet Mail, Click on Mail then Options.

You will be see the Options window, as seen in the screenshot below. Fill in your name in the Name: field. Fill in your organization in the Organization: field. This is optional. Fill in your email address in the Email Address: field. eg. if your username is johnd, your email address is johnd@znet.net . Under Servers, filling in the following:

Outgoing Mail (SMTP): smtp.simplyweb.net
Incoming Mail (POP3): mail.simplyweb.net
POP3 Account: your username
eg. if your username is johndoe, you will enter johndoe here.
Password: your password

Click Apply then OK to complete reconfiguration.
